Margaret Leis Hanna (Peg) has just published an extraordinary work entitled While. It is the story of two women growing up during WWII and the astonishing differences and similarities in their lives.
She is a former teacher and longtime member of the Ohio Writer's Guild. Peg writes
children's fiction as inspired by her six children and four grandchildren; Tricia
and the Blue Cap, (First Place Award in Ohio Professional Writers contest) Canneh

Drawing on her experience as a reading teacher and volunteer reader for elementary

Her poetry has recently been awarded "Best of Show" and "Outstanding Work" at a Columbus Creative Arts Event and poetry awards from Ohio Poetry Association contests. On her own, she has published a collection of mother's prayers as a pocket size meditational gift item.
She is a graduate of Grove City (PA) College with graduate work at University of Pittsburgh, the Ohio State University and Highlights Foundation Workshop.
Peg is a member of SCBWI Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and
is currently working on two books; a fictional story of a teen's involvement with
an online predator and a narrative non-
